Recently, the industrial park designed by Zhubo, Beijing Taiji Cloud Computing Center has been officially put into use. This is a strong response to the application and experimentation of intelligent building and urban design concepts by Zhubo Design and Taiji Co., Ltd. and the future trend of office buildings.

 

01 Make smart buildings in the technological front

To realize the digitalization, refinement, and intelligence of urban governance requires full use of the technical advantages of global perception and precise identification.

Tai Chi's attempts in smart parks, smart cities, smart buildings, etc., are an efficient governance engine created by integrating relevant government affairs data and social data. This is Tai Chi's attempt and thinking on the application of intelligent systems to urban planning and governance. Based on the corresponding concepts, we make a response to the architectural space level.

The project base is located in the West District of Electronic City, Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park, Chaoyang District, Beijing. Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park is an experimental field for China's institutional innovation and the forefront of design and experimental innovation.

The location of Beijing Taiji Cloud Computing Center has convenient transportation and is adjacent to Beijing's North Fifth Ring Road. Compared with the core metropolitan area, it is less crowded and noisy, and has more greenery.

Tai Chi's focus on smart cities and architecture coincides with our design ideas. Through the creation of a global perception system for the interconnection of people, characters, and things, and a digital identification system for IoT terminals, the traditional human-led urban governance model will be changed.

The concept of the Tai Chi Smart Park is: "an always-on, perceptual life body. It responds more intelligently to the needs of park users, so that intelligent construction can benefit all roles inside and outside the building."

In our design, we also use space division and construction technology to achieve sustainable low-cost construction and operation.

 

02 Echoing the smart future with smart space

The overall plan of the park is a courtyard layout. The main entrance of the office park is located on the west and south sides of the site, facing the urban green space. The image of the lecture hall on the upper floor of the main entrance hall is prominent, creating an atmospheric and restrained corporate image. At the same time, this four-story volume connects two office bodies of the same size to enhance the integrity of the building.

The building is divided into scientific research office building, cloud computing industry center, information technology testing and evaluation center, and electronic equipment system assembly center according to the main functions. The goal is to build a smart ecological park with cultural and technological characteristics under the background of the information age to shape society , The strong bond of mutual contact and mutual support between the company and employees, and the stable image of the company's fairness and fairness, highlight the landmark of the park, and pay attention to providing employees with a pleasant and comfortable home physically and spiritually.

The cloud computing center and the headquarters office building are located on the southwest side of the base, close to the city’s main arterial roads, and are highly displayable. Therefore, we use modern modeling techniques to control the commanding heights of the base and become a landmark building for the base and the surrounding area. The overall planning and architectural design are modern, grand and solemn, and the details are exquisite and easy to use. Show the spirit of enterprise and humanism everywhere.

The main building with a height of 60m is laid out in a windmill-like layout on the volume, which connects all parts of the building and forms a continuous urban interface on the outside.

The two high-rises move in the east-west direction. While the building concentrates and highlights the sense of volume, natural lighting is utilized to the greatest extent. Each part is formed as a panel building in the depth direction which is conducive to natural ventilation and lighting. It displays the overall shape of the city at the same time. Mismovement also makes the architecture less rigid, flexible and contemporary.

On the east side of the project is the cloud computing center, which forms a ceremonial axis with the entrance and inner courtyard on the west side. The cloud computing center has a bright image, taking into account the functions of the computer room and display space. The image of the headquarters office building is coordinated with other office buildings. The main IT business area is located in two main office buildings. The building is oriented to the south, and the functional layout is concentrated and compact, independent of each other and connected.

The cloud computing data center has a certain corporate display function, and the cloud computing exhibition hall is embedded. The electronic equipment system assembly center is located on the northernmost side of the park, close to the entrance of the traffic lanes on the north side of the park, with independent functions and convenient transportation.

 

 

 

The Information Technology Testing and Evaluation Center is another important center in the park. It is located in the northeast corner of the scientific research office building. It is both connected and relatively independent. It forms three centers that echo the scientific research office building with the cloud computing industry center and the electronic equipment system assembly center. Area.

The scientific research office building includes the IT operation center in the conference area, the public safety and Internet of Things application research and development center, the software research and development center, and the smart city application center.

All buildings in the park make full use of modern technology to create flexible and diverse spaces suitable for modern professional office, meeting, and living requirements. The facade adopts a combination of glass and stone, using vertical line composition elements, through virtual and real changes and creative facade details, to make the building majestic, fresh and natural in color, and with a modern architectural flavor.

 

03 Smart technology meets oriental meaning

Our design pays attention to the working environment of our customers and employees, and integrates the concept of Chinese gardens into modern office buildings with a sense of science and technology, organically integrates the relationship between the environment and the building, and seeks the oriental meaning of space attributes, and creates a pleasant office for users. space.

The entire park is surrounded by rich greenery: trees, grass, water features... The green area in the north of the park extends and immerses into the building area, extending into the roof garden and courtyard. The landscape formed by these elements grows and coexists with the architectural form.

Inside the building, the shared green space is integrated into the office building like bubbles dissolving, using reasonable technology and appropriate measures to maximize the three-dimensional green space. The central atrium is supplemented by the sky courtyard, which is integrated into the Chinese courtyard culture to form a three-dimensional garden, and users can immerse themselves in the green space for office work.

In traditional Chinese culture, the emphasis on the attributes of the space landscape is the timing of the tour route, "continuity in the scenery, and twists and turns in the path". As the observation position progresses in depth, the landscape unfolds in layers, resembling but different in appearance.

In addition to the design thinking of enriching the landscape tour routes, the corridor design throughout the park can greatly reduce the repeated up and down traffic in the park, and can accommodate shared spaces and auxiliary function spaces, making the internal circulation of the park more abundant and efficient.

The office space can be divided or combined, which provides conditions for creating a spacious and abundant indoor space. The public service function of the park is located on the north side of the building, the northwest side is the commercial and leisure area, the northeast side is the sports area, the staff activity area is located on the west and north-south sides, and the southwest side is the conference area.

 

04 Brand new headquarters, brand new benchmark

As a landmark IT infrastructure, Tai Chi Cloud Computing Center Base is a complex computing center base that integrates government public service centers, e-government cloud centers, and information processing centers. Its completion has far-reaching practical significance. And will occupy a prominent position in the industry.

 

Through careful design and spatial expression of architecture and landscape, we create a new, green, modern architecture and environment suitable for Tai Chi corporate offices.

In the design process, we think about how to minimize energy consumption, achieve energy-saving and environmentally friendly green building standards, and control costs through various professional measures, emphasizing economics and building quality. At the spatial design level, multiple public spaces are used to achieve multi-functional utilization, so as to adapt the building to different needs most efficiently.

 

Behind the realization of these is the original intention of adhering to the customer-oriented and experience-oriented design in all aspects.
