From July 29 to August 1, 2021, the first course of the structure elementary class sponsored by the Zhubo Design Training Institute will start as scheduled. A total of 27 structural engineers from Zhubo Design participated in this training.

 

Ma Zhenyan, chief structural engineer of Zhubo Design, Tang Kaifeng, deputy chief structural engineer of Zhubo Design, Xu Feng, deputy chief structural engineer of Zhubo Design, and Wang Bin, structural engineer, served as instructors for this course.

 

DAY-1
Civil air defense structure design

 

 

On July 30th, Tang Kaifeng, deputy chief engineer of Zhubo Design Structure, and Wang Bin, structural engineer, jointly taught, with the theme of "Civil Defense Structure Design", the first day of this structural elementary class was launched.

 

The instructors made an in-depth analysis of the relevant concepts and design calculations of the civil air defense structure design, and combined actual cases to comprehensively explain the civil air defense basement structure design. Through the study, the trainees can master the design method of civil air defense structure, and it is expected that in the future work, they can gradually complete the design of civil air defense basement structure independently.

 

DAY-2
Structural design requirements

 

 

On July 31st, Ma Zhenyan, chief structural engineer of Zhubo Design, brought the course "Structural Design Requirements".
The course analyzes the common concerns of architectural designers, structural designers, and owners, and combines actual cases to put forward structural requirements from four aspects: safety, economy, regularity, and coordination.

 

 

DAY-3
Integrated design of prefabricated concrete buildings in Shenzhen

 

 

 

On August 1st, Xu Feng, deputy chief engineer of Zhubo Design and Structure, brought the course "Integrated Design of Shenzhen Prefabricated Concrete Buildings" to everyone.

 

Through learning, students can master a set of systematic integrated design methods for prefabricated buildings, understand the key factors that need to be considered and problems to be solved at various stages in the actual design process, and learn how to calculate the application proportions of the main structural engineering.

Q:Do you think coming here to study is the same as you expected?

A:It's quite different from what I expected. When I first received the course notification, I thought it was a relatively relaxing training course, similar to the instructor’s sharing session. The actual course was far less relaxing than I thought before, especially the class group assignments and after-school exams. Back in school days, pressure also followed.

 

The practice of sub-groups this time feels very good. Different students can learn different ideas, different ideas, and even different CAD drawing skills for structural majors. Many of them are worth learning by themselves.

 

 

Q:What practical difficulties do you often encounter in your work?

A:Actually, for me, the most common difficulty in structural design is the balance between drawing time and drawing depth and quality. Now due to the high turnover, the construction period is very short, and many projects are structured first. As the project becomes more complicated and the division of labor becomes more refined, the structural profession needs to cooperate with more professions and departments. While ensuring the quality of the drawings, it is also necessary to ensure the safety of the structure.

 

To solve the above problems, in addition to planning the project time, it is also important to improve professionalism. If the technical level is sufficient, a lot of time can be reduced in the design, so I think it is necessary to open the structure elementary class this time.

 

 

Q:What do you think are the important characteristics of structural designers?

A:I think the most important characteristic of a structural designer is to have a sense of responsibility, because structural expertise is most closely related to safety. Once a problem is discovered, or there is uncertainty, it must be resolved in time and reported in time. If you are lucky or thinking of ostriches, as Mr. Ma said in class, if you don’t solve the small hidden dangers, there will be a big accident if you accumulate too much. If an accident occurs, the designer cannot be exempted from responsibility, so this sense of responsibility Not only to the company, to Party A, but also to yourself!

Q:Do you think you have made any significant progress and gains in the past few days?

A:I have learned a lot from the study these days. The civil air defense course on the first day completely hit my knowledge blind zone. When we design in actual work, the civil air defense is designed by a separate specialized civil air defense company. The structural designer Only responsible for cooperating with civil air defense. A lot of civil air defense knowledge is only half-knowledgeable.

After studying, I have a certain understanding of the various walls and mouths of civil air defense, the load values of civil air defense areas, and the calculation of civil air defense walls and mouths. In the future work, the basic model of the scope of civil air defense does not need to wait for the civil air defense inverse model. When you model yourself, you can input enough civil air defense load, directly calculate the basis, and improve the work efficiency of 1 to 2 days.

 

 

The structural design course on the second day was also very impressive. The previous projects were all non-overrun projects with no more than 100m, and most of them were projects in low-intensity areas. Most of the structural layout is based on the plan layout of the vertical components, and there are few conditions for us to adjust the plan. After listening to Mr. Ma's class, I realized that for super high-rise buildings, it is often necessary to intervene from the plan stage to help the plan adjust the plan, so that the structural layout can be reasonable and economical.

Q:Do you think coming here to study is the same as you expected?

A:There are some differences. The teacher explains in a way that combines theory and practice, and practice accounts for a high proportion, and I feel very rewarding.

 

Q:Do you think you have made any significant progress and gains in the past few days?

A:I feel that the knowledge fragments in memory are connected together, and many vacancies are filled, and many indecisive ideas are firmed up. It is very practical in design.

 

 

Q:Is there anything more memorable for you to study here?

A:The teachers worked tirelessly to explain, Dean Liu and Head Teacher Ma took care of us in every possible way, and the support of the students, all of which made me unforgettable.

A:Younger brothers and sisters, it is necessary for you to preview before you come, and you will experience a very good learning experience, cherish it!

Q:Do you think coming here to study is the same as you expected?

A:It’s a little bit different. I feel that I should have more time to learn more. The training time is a bit short. I teach a lot of knowledge every day. I don’t feel it is fully digested. However, I have also learned a lot of knowledge and lecture teachers. Shared engineering experience and problem-solving skills.

 

Q:Is there any part of the course that you think you like?

A:I like Mr. Ma's project case sharing, which allows us to learn or see projects that we haven't done before and get project experience that is usually difficult to get.

 

 

During the three-day learning process, the students not only learned a lot of professional knowledge from the lectures, but also gained rapid growth from the exchanges and discussions.

 

 

So far, the first course of the structural elementary class has come to a successful conclusion, and the second course of the architectural director (intermediate) class will be launched in the first week of August, so stay tuned.
